Environmental Search

An Environmental Search protects you and your client by providing information not necessarily revealed by a Local Authority Search. PSO delivers a rapid service - an instruction received by 1pm is normally supplied within a few days.

Commercial: Commercial environmental searches are due-diligence reports designed to provide a cost-effective environmental overview in commercial property transactions.

The report is aimed at lawyers and other property professionals. It presents information in straightforward 'question and answer' format covering a search area of 1,000 metres.

Residential: Residential Environmental reports are designed to satisfy the concerns raised by the Law Society.

They assist conveyancing professionals when advising their clients on selling or buying property, obtaining a mortgage, seeking further mortgage advice or commencing any building works. It highlights whether further specialist advice should be sought.

PSO recommends clients commission the market leading Homecheck Professional Environmental report from Landmark. The Homecheck Professional Environmental Report is for use by lawyers and other professionals involved in residential property. It provides information in the five key areas that are not covered by Standard Enquiries of Local Authorities. Every report includes a clear assessment on contaminated land liability from Europe's largest environmental consultancy.
